In 1990 Pastor McFann began his journey to help people. As an Associate Pastor of Heritage Christian Center, one of his first tasks was to develop The Diligent Hands Job Service. Through this Job Service, hundreds of people regained their dignity and once again became productive members of society. As his ministry began to grow, and out of his passion to help others, Pastor McFann founded the Project Heritage Program which owned and operated The Heritage House Hotel. |
This 200 room facility provided transitional housing for seniors, the disabled, and families in crisis. The Project Heritage Program encompassed a job service program, food bank, and resource center which provided education, computer training, on the job training, and support groups.
Through the last 20 years of working with low-to-moderate income families, Pastor McFann has established strong community relationships. In 2000, the Aurora Chamber of Commerce awarded him the Humanitarian of the Year Award for his tireless efforts in helping disadvantaged and disenfranchised individuals. Pastor McFann understands the obstacles people face, and has made it his life’s work to offer help and restoration to hurting people.
